TFT Screens – Does Not Come On When Powered Up

Overview
My TFT monitor does not light up. No picture is displayed
Cause
There are 3 probable causes for this problem which can be checked:
The power supply is faulty, or is disconnected
There is no video signal to the TFT
The Backlight or AD board may be faulty
Resolution/Action
Here are the possible solutions to be checked:
Check the power supply to the TFT
Test with another working TFT in the machine that a video signal is present
Replace the Backlight or AD board
